A message from Farleigh Hospice:

Thank you to our fundraising team, volunteers and performers who braved the hideous weather last Saturday to support our city-centre street collection.

We were delighted to welcome Mayor of Chelmsford, The Mayoress, Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayor Consort of Chelmsford, who helped with the collection. Despite the lashing rain, we were able to raise a wonderful £1,663.68.

Thank you to everyone who donated and thank you to the following organisations who supported the event on the day: High Chelmer, Meadows Shopping Centre, Chelmsford, Bond Street Chelmsford, Chelmsford City Council, Essex Dance Theatre, Chelmsford Male Voice Choir, Farleigh Community Choir, Don't Shout Out - BSL and Funky Voices - we couldn't have done it without you? 

Thank you to all those people who stopped to listen to us and also donated to this worthy cause. A special mention to the kind lady who bought the choir some much appreciated refreshments.
